First visit to our clinic?
First off, welcome! Here is a brief overview of what to expect at your first appointment at Hansen Family Chiropractic.

Check In & Paperwork
You will be greeted by one of our staff members and as a new practice member, you will be asked to complete some basic paperwork. If your visit is a work related injury or from an automobile accident you will be asked to complete some additional detailed paperwork regarding the accident or injury prior to seeing our doctors. You will also be asked to provide your current insurance card for coverage. We accept most insurance plans and are happy to bill any insurance you may have including out of network plans. We also have private pay options available.

Consultation & Assessment
New practice members will be greeted by either Dr. Hansen or Dr. Meier and proceed to the consultation/adjusting room. The doctor will go over your health questionnaire with you. You will have an initial evaluation at that time. The doctor will assess your individual situation and outline a plan of treatment for you. Communication is key and we will listen.

X-Rays
Your chiropractor will determine if he feels that x-rays are required in determining the location of nerve interference and misalignment in your body. X-rays will then be taken on the first visit. A report of findings will be scheduled for your second visit to go over the x-ray findings.

First Adjustment
After the completion of the initial evaluation and any x-rays the doctor will determine if you will be adjusted on your first visit or if it will be postponed until after the report of findings for x-rays is completed on your next appointment.
